Now, here’s your behind the scenes look at the production, from the producer and the shows many contributors. It’s Week 24 of the season, and sectional champions are being crowned in some winter sports…
We begin this week at Northstar Christian Academy, where after a few down years, the Girls Basketball squad is making a statement. Led by a trio of seniors – Mikaela Brown, Aaliyah Pennie and Moriah Mills, the Knights are looking for their first sectional title on the girls side. Second year Head Coach Roger Leo brings the experience of having been a part of the boys team, and now with Brown and Pennie both healthy, this could be the year for the Lady Knights… Here’s Paul Gotham…
13 WHAM’s Matt Trabold joins us for the Dunkin High School Notebook. Matt and Dave Yates talk some Section V sports – including the Webster Thomas hockey team, the Brighton girls basketball squad – and the Section V connections at RIT with men’s lacrosse…
The Section V Spotlight is up next, highlighting some Section V stars, including the Section V cheer squads heading to states this year…
Our top story this week takes us to Spencerport, where the Rangers wrestling program has a long and storied history. The team has rebounded, and won the Section V Dual Championship, and 7 individual state titles. Paying respect, and living up to the history of the Rangers who came before, is just a part of what makes Spencerport a very special place for wrestling…
