The Buffalo Bills have signed RB Chris Ivory to a 2-year deal, addressing their need for a backup to starter LeSean McCoy. Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com has the details…
Ivory played a big role in the New York Jets, including a Pro-Bowl selection in 2015 when he ran for 1,070 yards. For the last 2 seasons with Jacksonville, Ivory has served as a back-up.
The big talk for the Bills off-season, of course, is what direction they will head in with regards to QB#1… Sign a veteran QB, draft a rookie, trade-up in the draft for a top prospect, re-sign Tyrod for another year… the possibilities (and speculation) is endless. For more on said speculation:
- Stephen McCarthy of Buffalowdown.com has his take on what the Bills should do – trading for a short-term veteran QB to hold down the fort, and McCarthy names the likes of Trevor Siemian and Nick Foles as options
- Saquon Barkley to Buffalo? – Joe Buscaglia sure hopes so – and he makes a compelling case
- And, the never-ending debate over what-kind-of-QB-is-Tyrod-Taylor continues, and this time Buffalo Rumblings is taking a statistical & financial approach to Tyrod
