If you didn’t catch the Coca-Cola 600 last Sunday night, you missed out on William Byron dominating, leading 283 laps and Stages 1, 2, and 3 before surrendering the lead to Ross Chastain with just a few to go. Completely different track tonight: 1.3 miles of concrete, and we’re starting even later!
Here’s what to look for:
–Chase Briscoe is our Polesitter, and he seems to be knocking them down with regularity lately! Can he finish the job and bring it home 1st, too?
–Joey Logano won a record-setting five overtime race last year for his first victory at Nashville. We haven’t had a repeat winner yet, is tonight the night?
–Ross Chastain — previously mentioned — had a pretty good climb to the Win last week in Charlotte, but he won this very race two years ago.
-In four races here, Kyle Larson has earned 181 points and has amassed more points than any other driver. He had a double tough one last week with Indy and Charlotte, and probably looking to shake that ASAP. (Another one of our former winners here!)
–Zane Smith, let’s talk about him. Definitely having a better year this year than last, but still not burning down the house. WELL, if you only watched Nashville ’24, you’d think this guy had it all together — he finished 2nd!
Coverage of the race today starts on Amazon Prime at 7:19pm, green flag scheduled for 7:05pm
