2025 NASCAR Preview: Week 11 – Texas

400 wild miles in Texas!

From the high speeds and high banks of Talladega over to another fast track with a high “pucker factor,” Texas awaits the Cup Series today.

Here’s what to look for:

Carson Hocevar is Riding the ‘Dente this weekend, and he looks the part in his firesuit and his first career Pole. It has been an interesting season for Poles with drivers (Zane Smith got his first career Pole last week, too!), but can he get the matching finish?

Chase Elliott was the winner of this race last Spring, and he’s hoping to get back to winning ways by doubling up. He hasn’t been the same in this generation of car as he was before the update, but he’s still someone to watch weekly.

William Byron won the Fall race in 2023 (we’ve only been running one race each year), and has finished 3rd or better in three of his last four attempts here; his other finish was a 7th! He’ll start 2nd today.

Chase Briscoe actually has the best average finish of any active driver, 9.0 over four attempts. He’s got his work cut out for him, having to dig through the field from 22nd.

Ryan Blaney has been trying hard to get things going, and maybe today is the day. He’s got more points earned here over the last ten races than any other driver, and seven Top 10s to go with it.

Coverage of the race starts on FS1 at 3:30pm, green flag scheduled for 3:43pm.
